Jennifer Breland-Dykes
Track Director

The SGMT Track Director maintains the utmost responsibility for the oversight of the Stargate Multiverse Track at Dragon*Con. He/she will report directly to the Director of Fan Track Programming for Dragon*Con, but shall field/address the needs, concerns, questions, and suggestions of all SGMT trackgoers and volunteer staff.

While many of these responsibilities are delegated to a staff of approximately 30-50 volunteers, ultimately, the final credit/blame of the successes/failures of the track operation fall upon the CO, who may then forward a due portion of those sentiments to whom tasks are delegated. In conjunction with the 2IC and official staff, the CO will allocate and maintain the track budget, and oversee an internal audit of all track finances, to be completed by November 15 of each year (or as required by Dragon*Con operating policies).

At all times, the CO will maintain an open line of communication to the 2IC, his/her official staff, and to as many other volunteers as possible, especially Project Team Coordinators (PTCs), celebrities while at con, talent agents, and all Dragon*Con staff departments. A CO that fails to meet these responsibilities seriously impairs the reputation of the Stargate Multiverse Track and may be held accountable to the Senior Director of Track Programming for Dragon*Con.
Jamie Poff
Assistant Track Director, Programming Team Supervisor

The SGMT PTS will assume responsibility for the oversight of ALL track Main Programming events, with a staff composed of Programming Team Coordinators (PTCs), one for each major annual project, minus one (for the annual project he/she supervises). PTCs may utilize the PTS throughout the year as a resource for project development ideas, annual thematic integration, team management advice, and other questions related to the overall progress of each team project. Also, the PTS assists the official staff in developing processes for an open call for panelist teams and topics.

The PTS answers/reports directly to the CO and 2IC, makes suggestions for annual track themes, advises PTCs on budget concerns, and works with all official staff in developing the overall track schedule. The PTS will make arrangements for all track panelists to receive accolades/incentives for continued service and efforts on behalf of the Stargate Multiverse Track.

Sandy Noble
Charity and Public Relations Supervisor

This position is year-round intensive, as the acquiring of contacts, donations and merchandise for our charity drive is much more than a four-day position. The SGMT CPRS will coordinate all charitable efforts of the track on behalf of the annual Dragon*Con Charity, including silent, live, and other auctions; team project charity efforts; track room donation drives; matched giving pledges and challenges. As failure to meet these responsibilities greatly impacts the track as a whole, the CPS may be held accountable to the Dragon Con Director of Charity Events, as well as the SGMT Director.

The SGMT CPRS is also responsible for Public Relations with other SG fan groups, and other conventions throughout the year. Promoting the SGMT at other conventions such as the SD Comic-Con, and with other groups such as SciFiHero.net, is key in spreading information about our track and getting others involved from year to year.
James Henson
Track Room: Tech Ops Supervisor

Responsibilities include interaction and discussion with programmed event chairs and the track directors regarding needs for electronics, audio/visual media equipment, and guest registrations. The TRTO answers to the CO and 2IC, and addresses any and all potential events that will occur within the track room at any given time, including serving as a liaison with Dragon*Con Tech Ops staff.

The staff member in this position will work side-by-side with the TRVS to provide the entire package for track room operations (tech, volunteers, and security). Ultimately, a strong pairing of these two positions creates a situation in which either or both Track Room Ops directors may occasionally leave the track room, knowing that it will be supervised by a competent and informed staff of TROs.

Nick "McKay"
Director's Secret Weapon!!

Our Staff McKay, and all that goes along with that.
"Wiccy"
Graphic Arts Department Supervisor

The SGMT GADS will supervise and oversee the production and integration of visual arts projects related to various events of the track, decorations in the track room and/or track-sponsored events, etc. Staffing under his/her supervision will include volunteers with a flair and creative capacity to design posters, flyers, badges, and other print media materials necessary for the operation of the track in general. Responsibilities for this position also include the online promotion and visibility of SGMT, and all "social-networking" groups (Facebook/MySpace/LiveJournal) presences and announcements to these sites. The person in this position will also be responsible for overseeing the larger "party" events such as our collaborative effort with the ConSuite each year.

RJ Lehnen
Guest Services Supervisor

The GSS will serve as a liaison between Dragon*Con Guest Relations staff and the SGMT Staff. Unlike other SGMT official staff, the work of the GSS tends to pull him/her away from the track room activities, as the job entails extensive contact with celebrity panelists and the subordinate staff of Guest Escorts and Guest Assistants (both known as GSA's). Most of his/her time during the convention will be spent either backstage at megapanels OR on the Dragon*Con Walk of Fame. While not technically a "bodyguard" position, a background in security may be a help in this position, as the GSS will be required to work with Dragon*Con Security in case of emergencies.

As a "fulcrum" position on the SGMT staff, the GSS must successfully "front-face" the SGMT in a positive manner to many different groups, and thus, is subordinate to not only the Track Directors, but the Dragon*Con Guest Services Chair, the Dragon*Con Security services chair, Dragon*Con large room panel Tech Ops staff, and any hired agents of SGMT celebrity guests.
Track Room: Volunteer Supervisor

The staff member in this position will be responsible for staffing all events that require bodies beyond project supervisors/project teams, panelists, and official staff. In particular, he/she will create a "pre-schedule" before con for those volunteers offering to donate a portion of their time as TROs or MOAs, then adjusting/filling openings once volunteers arrive on opening Thursday/Friday.

This will be followed up by an accounting of how many hours were worked by each volunteer, and a grand total of volunteer hours served as a whole. The TRVS will work side-by-side with the TRTO supervisor to manage the total picture for Track Room Operations (tech ops, security, volunteer staffing), and report directly to the CO and 2IC. A strong pairing of these two positions will create a situation in which either or both Track Room Operations staff members (TRTO, TRVS) may occasionally leave the room, knowing that it is managed and secured by a competent group of TROs, and that Megapanels are staffed similarly.
